The Forward Look

(Philippians 3:13) Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

A healthy forward look is one that has been freed from the past and diligently reaches forward to those things that are still unfolding. By holding our hearts open (hope), we look forward to the unfolding prophetic vision that is brought to us at the revelation of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:13).  

We look to those things that He has not yet shown us, but shall. A forward look is a type of holy anticipation. It is an anticipation that love never fails and therefore love will come through.
